Love this place! Always consistent and has amazing fresh guac with tahini and the southern fried chicken salad is one of my all time favorite salads. Everything is fresh, fast and the servers are super friendly. It sounds random but their peanut butter pie is exceptional. Also if you get takeout here, they still give you free chips and salsa. They have a rewards email program here so that's great too. There is plenty of table, booth and bar seating. Their margaritas also have a great flavor and are pretty strong. Overall, Greta local tex-mex spot.

Stopped in for lunch. Plenty of free parking was available. Interior is typical Mexican restaurant decor with a full bar. Our complimentary chips and salsa were very tasty with warm tortilla chips and savory salsa... not too spicy. I had the Shorty's Favorite Taco plate, and my wife had the Enchilada plate. Both were very tasty and generous portions. Service was attentive and prompt. Prices are reasonable but not inexpensive. Overall, a very pleasant dining experience.

Update Dec 29 2024: My girlfriend and I love trying new places and had explored many Mexican. Restaurants, many good, but as of now I always come back to shorty's. I like all the servers but Brandon R is my personal favorite as he just seems so on point with everything and present. 2023: Came here with the family for my mother's birthday the food was great the service was wonderful and I really enjoyed myself.

Absolutely loved this spot! The service was top-notch—everyone on staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Lindsay, our bartender, was fantastic and makes one of the best margaritas I’ve ever had! The fresh guacamole was heavenly—so flavorful and perfectly prepared, hands down the best guac I have had outside of Mexico. Their quesadillas, especially the one with portobello mushrooms was DELICIOUS! The whole place has such a nice, colorful, laid-back vibe that makes it feel like a little escape. Super convenient location too—just off the main road and no hassle with parking. My husband and I had a great time, hope you do too!

Lauren was amazing at managing a large crowd there for my son’s high school graduation luncheon. Very pleasant and always with a smile. Excellent service, delicious food! Something for everyone’s palate.

I’ve been coming here for years with my family and recently a few months back I had the pleasure of meeting Liz the store manager. The first time I met Liz I went with my girlfriend and she was very friendly, sweet, helpful, and super nice. She went above and beyond to make sure our satisfaction at Shorty's was 110%. Fast forward to yesterday and Liz did it again I told her that it was my 21st birthday and once again she went above and beyond to make sure I had a very memorable birthday, you can tell she really does care about the customers. I’m definitely recommending this place to anyone that is looking for an upbeat atmosphere, good food, and of course amazing customer service. Thank you Liz!!!

We had a very large order for a school's Women's Month celebration event and they truly delivered. Even on theme, it was made possible by all the helpful women working hard at Shorty's. Excellent service and the students were happy with their meal. Thanks again!

Great service and great food. Our waitress, Annie was nice and prompt on taking our order! Food service was fast. There was a gentleman who stopped by our table, the manager I believe, to make sure everything was the way we had ordered it. We had some interesting requests due to dietary restrictions and they took care of everything without any trouble. Highly recommend!
